Who We Are

point.gif (205 bytes) Atlantic Rim Information Systems was founded in 1993 to provide the advantages of automation to smaller libraries which didn’t have the resources — including staffing — to take advantage of the large and expensive systems on the market.

point.gif (205 bytes) Since that time, AristoCAT®, Atlantic Rim’s primary product, has gone through several revisions and acquired many new features designed to make it even more useful and easier to use.

point.gif (205 bytes) Atlantic Rim Information Systems is a strategic mix of librarians and computer experts in order to provide the best mix possible of technical prowess and professional requirements.  Atlantic Rim is particularly mindful of the needs of patrons who may not be comfortable with new electronic technology but who need information just the same.
